O what fun this was! After having seen work I did as Artist in Residence at a conference on Susanna Wesley back in 2019, I was invited to turn the story of Bishop Street Methodist Church into a comic book. At first, I thought it was going to be a tough gig – how to make what could be a bit of a dry story into something funny and engaging? But you know what..? In the end it was pretty easy to do exactly that, and the original story wasn’t that dry anyway. The people who commissioned it were wonderful to work with, and went with every quirky thing I threw at them. It was such a fun project and I enjoyed every minute.
