Developed in partnership with Unlock Urban http://www.unlock-urban.org.uk/, this was a way of sharing Easter with people who don’t go to church or know about the story of Easter beyond eggs and rabbits. I drew four posters, one for each of the main days in the Easter story. These were displayed in the outdoor noticeboards of each of the churches in my village. The images were also produced as a set of postcards which were given to the local school; Scouts groups; every person using my church’s building over Easter; and everyone working in the village centre on Good Friday. It was a great way to engage people, many of whom asked for more copies so they could give them to others. No-one ever asked for a religious tract, but a heck of alot of people asked for those postcards.
